Retreat, in Tasmania offers Wellbeing Retreats focussing on Connection, Movement, Healthy Food and a Tranquil Location. They are set in the Tasmanian Central Highlands, so you can’t get more peaceful than that.
Your hosts, Miranda and Liz, have many years of experience behind them. In 2022 they set up these wellness retreats in the recently renovated Bronte Park Lodge and they haven’t looked back.
They offer weekends that are all about you! About prioritising self-care, nurture your mental health and physical well-being while having fun at the same time. All activities are optional. If you want to sleep in, walk or eat alone – you’re welcome to. It’s your weekend!
Each retreat is thoughtfully designed and created to enhance health and well-being. With daily yoga, meditation and nurturing self-care treatments, Retreat in, Tasmania wellness retreats revive and rejuvenate both body and mind.
There’ll be plenty of fresh, delicious, hot vegetarian food. You’ll also be treated to an essential oils foot spa treatment, Yin deep relaxation Yoga, gentle yoga flows, advanced yoga sessions, yoga-inspired painting while sipping mocktails, meditation, an adventurous hike, plenty of quiet time to read, rest or explore, and warm, cosy, private rooms so you can fully restore

Meet your instructor – Miranda
Miranda provides a lovely, inclusive yoga practice for all guests. All are welcome, from those that have never tried yoga before, right through to experienced yogis wanting to practise arm balances and headstands. Miranda modifies instruction to cater to all health conditions and injuries, including chair yoga if needed. Miranda meets you where you are… No experience necessary!
Miranda has the following qualifications. Certified Yoga Teacher RYT200, Certified Yin Yoga Teacher RYT60, Certified Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher, Certified Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher, Bliss Baby Yoga Teacher Trained. Miranda has practiced Yoga for over 20 years and is the mum of two active boys.
Meet your host – Liz
Lis works hard to design retreats that you’ll love. She also organises personalised workshops and day retreats for schools and corporate events. Liz has 22 years of experience as a primary school teacher, B. Ed. she’s also studying for a Master of Social Work. She has the following certifications: First Aid HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support, HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Liz is also a mum to four busy girls.
