Black Diamond Lodge is just 45 minutes from Downtown Durango in the beautiful Hermosa Valley, near the Purgatory Ski Resort. This recently renovated venue has views of the San Juan Mountains and provides a ski-lodge-style event venue and bar for wedding parties, families and businesses looking to create memories in the mountains!
They sleep 46 people in 12 rooms – 3 bunk rooms and 9 hotel-style room. You’ll have access to a community kitchen, large games room, movie room, breakfast room and spa area. You’ll have 24/7 private access to this spa area, which includes three hot tubs, a sauna and a steam room. It’s also perfect place for early morning yoga.They offer a flexible payment structure that allows guests to pay directly so groups almost always pass all lodging costs directly to their guests. There are also many condos nearby that are able to sleep an additional 100+ guests.The Black Diamond Lodge, formerly The Silverpick Lodge, transitioned ownership in 2022 and the new owners are excited to continue the memory-building, celebration-having legacy of the past few decades.
