After Tatopani either you can trek through Poon Hill, which is one of the most majestic viewpoints in Nepal, looking out over the entire Annapurna chain and spectacular mountains like Fishtail and the Dhaulagiri (8200 m). Then trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara or directly bus drive to Pokhara via Beni.

Itinerary for Annapurna circuit trekking:
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at the airport, our representative will transfer you to your hotel.

In the evening, join a pre-trek briefing with your guide. During this session, you’ll review the trekking itinerary, discuss your gear, and cover any last-minute preparations to ensure you’re fully ready for your trek.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule

Our trekking guide will come to pick you up at your hotel about 7 AM in the morning, we then drive along the Kathmandu-Pokhara highway to Dumre and then follow the narrow and paved road by the Marsyangdi River to Besisahar. We then drive to Bhulbhule where you will practice evening yoga, have dinner and spend the night at hotel.

Day 3: Trek to Chamje from Bhulbhule

Join us for morning yoga stretches and breathing exercises before breakfast. This session is designed to help you prepare for the trek and start your day refreshed and energized.

After breakfast we start trekking to Chamje. This will take us about 7-8 hours. The trail goes flat for the first part then climbs steeply. The path is cut into the sheer cliff-face some 200-300m above the riverbed.

Pass through various suspension bridges, small villages, such as Ngadi and Bahundanda, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe local lifestyles and interact with the friendly villagers.

Eventually we descend to the stone village of Jagat (1330m) situated on a shelf, here the trail goes up and down to Chamje through the forests.

Day 4: Trek to Bagarchhap from Chamje

Day 5: Trek to Chame from Bagarchhap

The trek from Bagarchhap to Chame takes approximately 6 hours.

From Bagarchhap we start ahead to reach Danaque village and then a steep climb to reach the Tamang village with exquisite views of Manaslu, Lamjung , Annapurna and other mountain beauties.

As you continue along the trail towards Chame, you’ll be treated to stunning views of Annapurna II (7,937 meters) and Lamjung Himal (6,983 meters).

We trek through a pine forest and as the forest ends, the valley changes from a V-shape to a gentle U-shape, opening up wonderful vistas and then we come to a long Mani wall by a bridge and the lower village of Pisang.

Upon reaching Pisang, you’ll notice two distinct parts of the village – Upper Pisang and Lower Pisang. Upper Pisang offers better views of the surrounding peaks, while Lower Pisang provides more accessible accommodations.

Day 7: Trek to Manang from Pisang

We start our trekking with climbs to steep ridge which affords good views of the Manang valley and Tilicho peak.

The route goes through the valley floor and the villages of Hongde and Mungji. This offers beautiful scenery and a closer look at the local culture.

Cultivated fields appear on both sides of the path and off to the right, below a craggy mountain, we will see the village of Braga with its splendid monastery. Large chortens and mani walls abound and the tall peaks of the Himalaya spread out before us. After a short steep climb, we will reach Manang.

We climb little up after crossing the Manang village then follow the upper route which descends after few steps up to Riverside then we cross a suspension bridge and walk through pine forest, we arrive at Khangsar village, which is inhabitant by Tibetan people, we take a lunch break and after that, we continue an hour trek to Shiri Kharka.

Today we start early-day hiking to Tilicho Lake, the highest altitude lake in the world after having breakfast at the lodge. We climb gradually up to reach Tilicho lake, which lies on the bottom of the surrounding 360? Mountain views. It’s one of the spectacular and very impressive Lakes in Nepal. After spending sometimes there, we descend back to lodge enjoying the beautiful scenery and mind-blowing view. Then hike back to ShreeKharka.

Day 12: Trek to Yak Kharka from ShreeKharka

Day 19: Trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara

Following that up with a nourishing breakfast ensures you have the energy needed for the trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul. This route, part of the Annapurna Circuit, is beautiful but can be challenging, so setting off with both physical and mental preparation is key. Enjoy the journey!

Spring

Spring (March-May) is the high season and trekkers from around the world come to the Annapurna Region in large numbers. In springtime, the temperature is pleasant, and the hiking conditions are great. On the trail there’s a lot of excitement and anticipation to cross one of the highest mountains passes in the world for trekking, the Thorung La. It does get busy, but therefore it’s a great time to connect with like-minded adventurers.

Summer

Summer season (June-August) has higher temperatures and in that sense, it is quite pleasant. However, this is also the monsoon season, and it rains a lot. The chance of seeing the mountains around you is less as it is cloudy most of the time. The trail will be wet and slippery and there is an increased risk of landslides. And leeches are very active during these months. On the flipside, it’s not very busy on the route and the traditional villages feel more serene.

Autumn

Autumn (September, October, November) is the highest season for trekking. It is like springtime, prime trekking season with similar trekking conditions. The air in spring is sometimes a little hazy due to the dust in the atmosphere. Post-monsoon the air is very clear, allowing for stunning views of the mountains.

Winter

Winter season (December-January-February) is the tough time to trek on the Annapurna Circuit as it gets extremely cold. Night temperatures drop up to -15 degrees Celsius!
