Coast Yoga Retreat Queensland – 5 nights/6 days from Friday, 29th July
A 5-night/6-day yoga retreat just off the Sunshine Coast, with Vanessa Shribman of Coast Yoga Centre Glenelg SA & Tara Iyengar yoga in Melbourne.
The Coast Yoga Retreat in Queensland is set in the beautiful Amara Retreat Centre, with stunning 180 degree elevated views across lush bushland all the way to Noosa. It’s suitable for all levels of yoga experience and includes 2 sessions of yoga, pranayama, meditation and philosophy daily, except for the first day which only includes one session starting at 5pm. There will be time in between sessions to relax by the pool or dam, go for walks or take a trip into Noosa.
You’ll also have access to the energy laden fire circle area, Magnesium Pool, Buddha Garden, Steam Sauna (extra costs), 44 acres of dams and beautiful walks and hidden contemplation areas, 4000 sqm swimming water hole with floating pontoon.
All tuition is included, as are the delicious vegetarian meals, all luxury beddings and towels, bio-degradable lush shampoo and body wash and yoga mats for use at the retreat.

About Vanessa
Vanessa Shribman is a level 3 certified Iyengar Teacher. She has been practicing for 35 years and teaching for over 30 years. She is also a holistic physiotherapist and is interested in modifying and adapting poses so that they are accessible for stiff and able bodies alike. She is a Buddhist practitioner and incorporates philosophy for life and mindfulness into her retreats.
About Coast Yoga
In 1994 Vanessa opened Coast Yoga. It is the longest established studio offering Iyengar yoga in Glenelg, Adelaide. Coast Yoga is a friendly and caring community of teachers and students. You can immerse yourself in a wide range of yoga classes, however, they do not teach Bikram (hot yoga). They also have various health care practitioners who practise from the clinic rooms at the Centre. The Glenelg yoga center aims to support a vibrant community that is guided by yogic principles such as authenticity, generosity and compassion.
